The Group

As the A2 project includes a vast amount of work we have been instructed to assign ourselves into groups of no more than four to share the work between us equaly. I am in a group with Hennie Clough, Kelsey James and Rakhee Patel. In our initial meetings we decided that we would complete brief (A) - a promotion package for the release of an album. We decided to choose to create a website homepage for the band, and an front cover for the release of the digipak, confident with our website making skills, and our creative skills in making a cover.

We decided the best way to approach the task was to all have as much input as each other in the creative side, aswell as the technical practical side, adding our own ideas and skills to each process during the overall production. Our first task is to do as much research into the music video industry, looking at different concepts, styles and genres, allowing us to establish what type of music video we would like to create. By thoroughly researching and exploring the concepts of music videos, websites and covers of digipacks, it will allow our group to create products relative to todays society.
